Aerial Photography The new regulations regarding small unmanned aircraft in UK airspace has opened doors for many flights that were previously only possible under exemptions and authorisations, especially with lighter aircraft. These are just hypothetical scenarios and the actual number of people required will be discovered during the initial site survey.

Aerial Photography Luckily with the advances in drone technology, aerial photography and videography with drones has become affordable and easy – and in a lot of cases, cheaper and easier than traditional methods of capturing the subject.
In order for a drone pilot to work commercially, they must obtain a Permission for Commercial Operations (PfCO) from the Civil Aviation Authority and carry Public Liability Insurance. I have a PfCO and am fully insured for aerial operations.

Aerial Photography What3Words (W3W hereafter) have developed an amazing system where they divide the world up into 3m² squares. It’s much more accurate than a Google Maps link to a location. And exact locations are a huge part of drone flight planning!
